一直以來，人類透過雙手創造不同的生活用品。因應「生活」的單純需求，通過無盡思考創作，不停重複改良，現時很多用品也是由此而來。

 

隨著時代轉變，每天也有著不同新用具的誕生。如小物也計算在內，數量難以估計，是次我們率先邀請了8位來自日本的作家合作，他們的創作不但擁有自己風格，同時也以這種思考理念而持續創造生活所需的器物。

Humans have always been creating tools for daily life with their own hands.

Throughout endless stream of thoughts and creating things in the forever-searching mind, we have repeated this process because of basic needs of “Living”. Number of things we possess now is the result of this.

 

As changes with time, things are continued to be created every day.  The number of new creations is incredibly large and hard to estimate if tiny things are included. We have invited 8 Japanese artists to collaborate with us this time, who are not only creating on their own styles, but also continuing to create things for daily use with this concept in mind.

人間には自らの手で生活に纏わる道具を作る文化が存在します。生きる、と言う純粋な行動原理から果てしない時間の中で発想と実践を繰り返し、現代に存在する道具は生まれてきたと思うのです。

日本では現代においても日々新しいものづくりが生まれ、その数は細かいものを含めると把握出来ないほど存在していますが、今回はその脈々と流れる創造の先端で、自己の表現と向き合いながら日常の暮らしの中で使う道具を考え作り続けている日本の工芸作家8人をご紹介致します。
